Most troubles with viewing Flash on the web can be caused by your Flash Player being damaged. To quickly correct this, uninstall your damaged Flash Player and reinstall the current version of the Flash Player. We have provided the simple steps below:


Macromedia Flash Player UNinstaller Steps

1. Download / Run the Macromedia Flash Player UN-Installer:

   * Flash Player 8 uninstallers
      - Windows: uninstall_flash_player8 (182K)
      - Mac OS X: uninstall_flash_player8 (278K)

   * Flash Player 7 uninstallers
      - Windows: uninstall_flash_player7_win.exe (684K)
      - Mac OS X: uninstall_flash_player7_osx.hqx (1556K)

   * Flash Player 6 uninstallers
      - Windows: uninstall_flash_player6_win.exe (115K)
      - Mac OS X: uninstall_flash_player6_osx.hqx (764K)


2. Save the file to your system, choosing a location where you can find it (for example, your Desktop). Macintosh users may need to open or unstuff the hqx file.

3. Close your browser completely.

4. Run the uninstaller. This will uninstall Macromedia Flash Player from all browsers on the system.


Macromedia Flash Player 8 - INstaller Steps

   1. Download / Run the latest Macromedia Flash Player Installer:
      - Windows: Click here (930K)
      - Mac OS X: install_flash_player_osx.dmg (1.3meg)
            or click here to download from Macromedia directly

   2. Save the Installer to your desktop and wait for it to download completely.

   3. An Installer icon will appear on your desktop. Double-click on it to Install Flash Player

   4. Read and click through the dialog boxes.

   5. When the Install button appears, click it to install Macromedia Flash Player 7 into your browser's plug-ins folder.

   6. Your web browser will launch a new window. When you see the Macromedia Flash Player logo and text, the installation was successful.
